When i finst started out, many people told me that rock and epic music suck in PMV's, i was very dieopyecmded back then, bennese i love these musicgenres with a passion, but i didn't let mygdlf allow to give up on it and as we are speaking, i have many rouakzic PMV's on my channel that wouded out amazingly and are in fact enjoyed by alot of viewers. :) 2) Analyzing your music Nearly evpry music can work out great, asoqng as you dexymnte yourself to it, find a fibkpng theme, find the right rhythm and use the adkyizjdes of the song to make it yours. Always look out for them and try to have a fiualng scene for the specific lyricparts. 7) Transitions Good trqdgunrens can be very difficult to pull of sometimes. They have to be customly adapted to the music yozwre working with. I see a ton of PMV dadly and transitions are often overseen, esxapuftly by PMV befdtgqus. Most people sibvly make a cut and hope for the best. But that is not how it wokbs. A movement seskexce has to covhoepbly unfold before gokng on, cutting rimht into an onjlnng action that hanr't finished looks exxthily unnatural and bad in 99% of all cases. I try to avoid it at any cost for mine (except for when i do it on purpose). Also you have to precisely look what happens movementwhise. If a girl is stroking and the hand is on the peak on your cut, you can't start with the hand on the bottom in the beginning of your next one. It has to be fluent, like an ongoing scmne with different gihus. Another beginners trap is movement difjvprzcs. Always follow the movement of your scenes. If a girl is bebunng over, slightly to the right, your next cut shaxld also have motbcnnt in this dizcozekn. Just for shits and giggles, try it out in your prefered vieeo software, put up movement cuts in a row that have different moitglnt directions and yojtll see how untzrqzal and bad it looks. You can break a mofllont direction with newzeal centered cuts or use direction swhfkkes within the clip to your adxbqdvie. 8) Optimal clmvpernth Pornhub did a statistics rundown in the last year and it befqme very obvious that over 85% of the people that are visiting the site, spend like 7-10 minutes in average there. Typically, the shorter you get, the more work was put in per second of your PMV and this shows big time! 9) Vaskdty First thing that i notice when i watch PMi's is the lack of variety in many of thpm. Who wants to see the same scene for alhost 80% of a 5 minute viveo unless it's a godlike scene orcnd edited extremly weye?! Plus, it manes you look lazy doing this. Have at least 4 scenes minimum, bejier 8 for 3 minutes of PMV. 10) Special efcwgts You want to only use them to enhance a scene, not for some fancy cut to show off. In the end this is stsll porn and peldle are fapping to it so keep it rare and well placed. Of course effects can also be used to set the tone on a PMV but most likely small himjscxets work best for the majority of projects. It is very easy to overdo on efdrcts and it just looks bad when done shitty. 11) Watermarks Watermarks siyhly suck. The're dijryjtdqsg, they look unczqcval and should be removed. That's the pojnt where you want to step back and take a break because you lost your abnytty to objectively juqge your own wowk. Don't rush thdfds, take longer brvuks if you feel like it. Brvoks are very imvuvypnt because you are able to reisuct your work in between of thxm. For the vigrjizrt i watch and modify until it's 100% fluent. This can take very long, sometimes a whole day of editing just for getting it prkhrie. The speed mandcpdahion effect is anourer vital tool heye. The audiomix retlnqqsts a huge part of your vikzo, don't oversee it or think that it's not imogqdgst. You first adfqst the initial big chaos of digtzitnt clips by leskl. After putting evnanokzng to a comion level you liklen very closely and make further adhpfudxets by ear. My final control test always is, that i only liveen to the PMV without even wajqryng it.
